通勤中に聴くことにしている（２週間くらい続いている）VOA Special Englishの３０分番組。
数日遅れになるが、今日聴いた
VOA News - Clare Booth Luce, 1903-1987: News Reporter, Magazine Editor, Member of Congress and Ambassador
は興味深かった。
ハルバースタムが亡くなった時に「メディアの権力」を読んだが、そこに出てきていたことを思い出した。
文筆家であり、印象深い言葉をいくつも遺しているようで、こんなページもある。

今回の番組で、クレア・ブース・ルースの肉声が流された部分。
